amdavad.rent is built to be used anonymously. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

What we collect

• Rent pins: an approximate map location, rent amount, and BHK. No name, phone, or email is collected or stored.
• Seeker pins (Find a Property): an approximate map location, budget, property type, and your email address — used solely to send match notifications. We never sell or share it, and you must confirm it's really you via a verification link before any email is sent.
• Listings (List My Property): your name, phone number, and property details, shown to interested renters only when they explicitly request to see contact details for an approved listing.
• Abuse prevention: we derive a one-way, salted hash of your IP address to rate-limit spam submissions. We do not store raw IP addresses.

How we use it

Solely to run the map, match seekers with nearby rent pins or listings, and prevent spam/abuse. We don't run a premium tier and don't sell data to third parties. The site may show ads once it has real traffic; ad partners may set their own cookies, governed by their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data (e.g. your seeker-pin email or listing contact details) by writing to hello@amdavad.rent. Since rent pins are anonymous by design, we generally have no way to link one back to a specific person once submitted.
